The problem
The rear derailleur is the lowest, most exposed part on a mountain bike. SRAM Eagle mechs scratch on the first rock garden, and a new one looks five years old after one season. Then comes the strike that cracks the outer plate, and the whole mech is an expensive replacement.
The fix
A cover shaped to the SRAM Eagle body. It snaps over the outer parallelogram plate with no tools and takes the rock strike so the mech does not. On a new derailleur it keeps the finish. On an old one it hides the scratches and the bike looks new again. Black polished is the house style; other colours on request.
